Poem Nehemiah

In the heart of Babylon, a servant named Nehemiah,

A cupbearer to the king, yet a man with GODLY fear.

Distressed by his brethren's plight, their walls in disarray,

He sought the Lord in fervent prayer, both night and day.

"O God of Heaven," he prayed, "hear your servant's plea,

Grant me favor in the king's sight and set my people free."

Nehemiah makes, his petition for right,

A prayer of repentance, in the still of the night.

To Jerusalem he journeyed, with the king's decree,

To rebuild the city walls, for all the world to see.

Nehemiah did give the call to rise and build,

God's promise to His people, soon to be fulfilled.

In face of opposition, they labored day and night,

With a tool in one hand, and a sword in the other to fight.

Nehemiah is a story , a testament of faith,

Trust in God's timing, he will never be late

In God's protective power, they found their strength and grace.

Through work and through battles they won their race

The wall was completed, the people sang with joy,

Their faith in God Almighty, nothing could destroy.

Nehemiah and his people gave, jubilant praise,

For the Lord's steadfast love, endures for all days.

Nehemiah, a story of faith, prayer, and action,

A testament to God's promise, and His divine direction.

So, seek Him in your trials, and trust in His Vision,

For He is our refuge, our strength, and our Provision.
