As a Christian, I find it essential to remind us all that our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ calls for unquestioning obedience. Often, we may not understand God’s plan for us, but remember that He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the Creator of all things. As it is written in Genesis 1:1 of the King James Version (KJV) Bible, "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth." In our journey to salvation, we may encounter difficult moments and confusing situations where we're unsure why God is leading us down a particular path. However, it is during these moments that our faith is being tested. We must trust that He who is omniscient, omnipotent, and eternal knows what is best for us, even when we do not understand it. In Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV), we are reminded, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." This verse emphasizes the importance of trusting in God's wisdom and guidance rather than our limited human understanding. Remember, God’s ways are not our ways. As Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV) says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts". God has made a covenant with His people, and we are to honor Him by following His directions, regardless of our understanding. He often uses our trials and tribulations to strengthen our faith in Him. God’s commandments are not arbitrary rules but are rooted in His love for us, His desire to protect us, and His plan to give us a future filled with hope. Even when we do not fully understand His instructions, it is our duty and privilege as followers of Christ to obey. As we journey through life, let us remember that obedience to God is an expression of our love for Him. As it is written in John 14:15 (KJV), "If ye love me, keep my commandments." In closing, our journey towards salvation requires us to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, have faith, repent, Marshall McLeod Contact if you want to know more about Jesus 270-519-6244 2
